UPDATE // WARPAINT //

Here I am again, procrastinating. During these times, trying my hardest to withdraw myself from the Internet, I unconsciously come straight back to websites I don't use often. Now the clock strikes 10:21 PM and I think to myself "what the hell happened to the plan I made 4 hours ago?". An explainable reason to why I'm currently writing this instead of doing my English and IT homework is 'to improve my writing'. Although, I've realized that no one reads my blog and that I'm just talking to myself most of the time.

Anyway...

I'd like to 'talk' to you about another band, called Warpaint. They're an (almost all) American four-piece consisting of Theresa Wayman, Jenny Lee Lindberg, Emily Kokal, and Stella Mozgawa. Wikipedia stated their genre as 'experimental art rock'. They released their debut EP called Exquisite Corpse in 2009, and they've released a full-length album called The Fool in October 2010.

I saw them live in January. If I had to choose one word to describe their performance, it has to be: Inspirational. I, personally, don't see a lot of all-girl bands lately. To see these four women on stage, doing what they love, constantly looking at each other - smiling because of the cheering crowd, encouraged me even more to make music. After their performance I actually said to my friend Rabbit "we should form a band, jam, and write." We both agreed to this. Although it has never happened due to distance.
